The meeting will be held under the Centenary Convention of the Association of Municipal Electricity Utilities of Southern Africa (AMEU) at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg between 4
October and 7 October under the theme: Alternative Trajectories Towards
the SA Electricity Regime.

Delegates will discuss a number of topical issues affecting the industry
including alternative energy sources, load shedding mitigating plans,
cable theft, smart grids and electricity losses.

Senior government representatives will also address the conference,
including local Ministers of Energy and Co-operative Governance and
Traditional Affairs.

They are expected to address the conference.
