Kenya readies for German-African Business Summit

ke flagNAIROBI, (CAJ News) – THE second German-African Business Summit scheduled for Kenya next month will enable stakeholders and investors the opportunity to discuss Africa’s prospects and potential and to make new contacts.
Held for the first time in Africa on the 8th to the 10th in the capital Nairobi, it will give participants from the worlds of business and politics from the European country and Africa that opportunity.
Senior managers of German and African companies and decision-makers from politics and the administration from Germany and Sub-Sahara Africa will attend.
A number of organisations are co-arranging the event.
These include Sub-Saharan Africa Initiative of German Business, Federation of German Industries, Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Kenya.
It is supported by the Federal Government through the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Federal Ministry of Finance.
Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta and German Foreign minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier will open the German-African Business Summit.
