LAGOS, (CAJ News) – THE Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) has announced the first set of speakers for next week’s West African International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (WAIPEC) in Lagos.
Industry leaders and expert speakers have been drawn from key stakeholders involved in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria to lead discussions and provide invaluable insight.
Among companies and stakeholders include National Petroleum Investment Management Services, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Shell Nigeria, Oildata Energy Group, Niger Delta Exploration and Production, Chevron Nigeria and Frontier Oil Limited.
PETAN chairman, Bank Anthony Okoroafor, said PETAN had commissioned WAIPEC to provide the oil and gas sector with a much-needed business platform to showcase expertise and discuss opportunities.
“WAIPEC is strategically located in the heart of the commercial area to facilitate access, and is very much organised by the industry for the industry,” said Okoroafor.
PETAN is delighted with the response of the major industry players.
Set for February 21-23, WAIPEC’s platinum sponsors include Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company.
Other key sponsors are Marine Platforms, First E&P, Lee Engineering and Aveon Offshore.
