Nigeria investment summit deferred to June

NigeriaLAGOS, (CAJ News) – THE Nigeria International Trade and investment Conference (NITIC) 2017 has been postponed to June to enable more stakeholders to participate.
Africa International Trade and Development Trust executive, Sand Mba Kalu, confirmed the development.
“The change in date was necessary to accommodate the interest of its stakeholders while allowing for the completion of maintenance and repairs at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja,by the Federal Government of Nigeria,” said Kalu.
The conference, themed “Multiple Frontiers- Moving Away From Oil”, aims to bring together local and international stakeholders to a common platform to strengthen the positive contributions from the non-oil sector.
The focus is on agribusiness, manufacturing and financial services.
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) has endorsed the event that will be held in the capital city at a date yet to be set.
