Nigerian Nnanna new Africa Finance Corp chairperson

afclogoLAGOS, (CAJ News) – AFRICA Finance Corporation (AFC) has appointed Nigeria executive, Dr Joseph Nnanna, as its new chairperson.
Nanna, the Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), replaces compatriot and former CBN colleague, Dr Sarah Alade, who has stepped down from the position.
Andrew Alli, President and Chief Executive of AFC, paid tribute to Alade.
“We are all very grateful for the notable contribution that Dr Alade has made to AFC during her time as Chairman of the Board,” said Alli.
Over the course of her tenure, the corporation has expanded rapidly, and zpproximately US$4 billion has now been invested in projects across 28 African countries, helping drive economic and social development.
“We welcome Dr Nnanna to his new role and look forward to working with him to continue this success in the future,” added Ali.
Based in Lagos, Nigeria, AFC is a leading pan-African multilateral development finance institution and project developer.
