Oil industry directors probed for corruption

OilLAGOS, (CAJ News) – A trio of energy sector executives has been arraigned in the oil-rich Delta State of Nigeria for alleged corruption.
Directors Gregory Eriyanremu, Frank Ugen and Harriman Isa Oyofo and their company Partsmaster Pil and Gas Limited are facing charges of converting over N100 million (US$318 000) meant for payment of contractors who executed contract job for Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission.
The alleged crimes date back to 2007.
Eriyanremu, Ugen and Oyofo are pleading not guilty.
The trial has been adjourned the case to April 7 for commencement of trial and ordered the accused persons to continue on their bail.
