Mauritius enables dynamic change for digital era

JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – MORE than 100 of the most influential executives will this week gather in Turtle Bay as the International Data Corporation (IDC) hosts the third edition of its annual Mauritius Chief Information Officers Summit.The summit is scheduled for Wednesday.
Themed “’Enabling Dynamic Change for the Digital Era” the event will be hosted under the patronage of The Honorable Yogida Sawmynaden, Minister of Technology, Communication, and Innovation, who will present the summit’s keynote address.
The Mauritius CIO Summit 2017 will see IDC analysts join forces with some of the world’s most innovative ICT vendors and end users, providing a platform for industry stakeholders to explore the latest ICT developments and trends shaping the region’s investment landscape and share their experiences of overcoming the core challenges associated with enabling digital transformation.
Jyoti Lalchandani, IDC’s group vice president and regional manager director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, said the summit series had been at the forefront of ICT thought leadership across the regions since its inception in 2008.
“The 2017 edition for Mauritius will once again leverage IDC’s expertise as the leading global ICT research and advisory services firm,” Lalchandani said.
“As such, we will be convening the sector’s key stakeholders to discuss the pertinent ICT issues that are shaping the industry today and increasingly becoming the critical business differentiators of tomorrow.”
